Mia Bowen earns SLIAC Player of the Week honors for second time

Columbus, Miss. — Mia Bowen, a senior forward from Buena Vista, Mississippi, has been named the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week for Feb. 2-8, 2026, the league announced.

This marks the second time Bowen has received the weekly honor this season, having also been recognized in late December. In two games last week, Bowen averaged 23.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game, shooting 59% from the field.

Bowen also totaled eight blocks, averaging four per game. She extended her NCAA Division III lead in blocks with 78 this season, averaging nearly four per game. She has recorded 10 double-double performances this year and scored in double digits in every game this season, with eight 20-plus point outings.

She leads her team in scoring (18.8 points per game), rebounds (9.8 per game), field goal percentage (42%), and blocks.
