Kenneth Mills Named CCS Men’s Field Athlete of the Week

ATLANTA — Kenneth Mills of Belhaven University’s track and field team has been named the CCS Men’s Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Mills achieved a career milestone at the Belhaven Invitational over the weekend. He cleared 2.05 meters (6 feet, 8.75 inches) in the high jump, winning the event and tying the program record set by Joshua Reed in 2016 at the Mississippi State Invitational.

The jump ranks as the second-best height in NCAA Division III this outdoor season, according to the conference. Mills, a freshman, helped the Blazers secure a strong showing at their home meet.

Belhaven’s next competition is scheduled for Thursday, April 2, at another home meet. Fans can follow the team’s updates on Twitter and Instagram at @BelhavenBlazers or like their Facebook page. Supporters are also encouraged to visit Team Green Giving to support Belhaven athletics.
