Ole Miss baseball player Judd Utermark has been named to Baseball America’s National Team of the Week, the publication announced Monday. The senior outfielder delivered a standout performance in five games last week, batting .412 with four home runs and 10 RBIs, according to Baseball America.
Utermark also scored nine runs and drew five walks, finishing the week with a slugging percentage of 1.176 and an on-base percentage of .522. His OPS for the week stood at 1.698, highlighting his offensive contribution. He now has 10 home runs on the season, making him one of only eight Division I players with double-digit homers. He ranks second in the SEC in home runs, third in home runs per game, third in runs scored, and fifth in total bases, per the university.
With his four home runs last week, Utermark moved into sixth place on Ole Miss’s career home run list with 39. A single more homer would tie him for the seventh spot all-time in school history with 40, matching players Brad Henderson and Jacob Gonzalez.
The Rebels are scheduled to face No. 7 Southern Miss Tuesday night in Hattiesburg at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.
