Jackson State Men’s Tennis Loses to Troy in Home Match
Jackson, Miss. — The Jackson State men’s tennis team lost to Troy in a non-conference match Saturday afternoon.
In doubles play, Jhoan Vaquero and Federico Pickenstainer led the team with five points. Ching Chang Chiu and Chen Hung-Yu scored three points in their No. 1 doubles match.
In singles action, senior Gonzalo Ayar earned four points for Jackson State on court four before Troy secured the final point. The Tigers will host Dillard University at 2 p.m. Sunday as they look to rebound from the loss.
