Florida A&M Tops Mississippi Valley State Softball, 8-0

TAHLEQUAH, Fla. — Mississippi Valley State University’s softball team fell to Florida A&M, 8-0, in six innings during a game held at Veronica Wiggins Field. The Devilettes struggled to score but showed hustle on the base paths.

The Devilettes (1-14, 0-6 SWAC) were outmatched by the Rattlers (14-12, 5-1 SWAC), who lead the series 22-5. Mississippi Valley State’s top performers included Sheridan Kynard, who reached on an error and stole second and third base before getting stranded. Devyn Dotson went 1-for-2 with a single, and Michelle Diaz recorded a hit over three plate appearances.
