Delta State Women’s 400-Yard Medley Relay Earns All-American Honors at NCAA Division II Championships

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The Delta State University swim team continued competition Thursday at the 2026 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships inside the Deaconess Aquatic Center. The women’s 400-yard medley relay team finished eighth, earning first-team All-America honors.

The relay team, comprised of Kaley Davis, Chloe Skelt, Zinna Nimander, and Olivia Murphy, posted a time of 3:41.16. On the individual side, Nimander placed ninth in the 100-yard butterfly consolation final with a time of 53.95, earning second-team All-America honors, according to the school.

Teammates Janne Bodemer and Mikayla Kloth also scored for the Lady Statesmen, finishing 15th with times of 55.28 and 56.12, respectively. The team’s efforts helped Delta State place 10th in the team standings with 87 points after three days of competition, with two days remaining in the meet.

On the men’s side, Delta State competed in the 400-yard medley relay, where the team of Mateus Franco, Jacob Hamblen, Kacper Mochnal, and Ethan Baylin finished 14th with a time of 3:15.79. Their performance contributed valuable points for the team, according to the university.

The championships continue Friday and Saturday, with Delta State aiming to improve its position in the team standings as the meet progresses, the school said.
