Delta State Men’s Basketball Set for Final Road Trip of Regular Season in Tennessee
The Delta State University Statesmen men’s basketball team (9-15, 6-13 GSC) will hit the road for their final regular-season conference games in Tennessee this week. On Thursday at 7:30 p.m., they will face Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Following that game, the team will travel to Nashville to play Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday at 4 p.m. The broadcasts will be available on the Statesmen Sports Radio Network, with Michael Gross providing play-by-play.
Heading into the weekend, the Statesmen are in ninth place in the Gulf South Conference standings, one game behind eighth-place Mississippi College and two games behind seventh-place Lee. A win could bolster their hopes for a GSC Tournament bid.

Elisha Puckett recently set a career high with 26 points against Valdosta State and added 10 against West Florida.
