Conley Langford Named Owl of the Week for Women’s Basketball

Conley Langford, a fifth-year senior guard for Mississippi University for Women, has been named Owl of the Week for Jan. 5-11, 2026. Langford helped the Owls post a 2-0 record during the week, keeping their unbeaten streak in 2026 alive.

Since Jan. 6, the team has moved from the SLIAC cellar to a tie for fourth place in the standings. Langford averaged a double-double with 25.5 points and 14.5 rebounds per game. She also contributed 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals per contest while shooting 42% from the floor.

In Saturday’s overtime victory at Blackburn, Langford scored the first five points of the game and finished with seven points overall. Her performance was key in securing the win for the Owls, according to team sources.
