Blue Mountain tops ABAC in high-scoring Senior Night victory

Blue Mountain, Miss. — The Blue Mountain Christian University men’s basketball team celebrated Senior Night with a dominant 113-91 victory over Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College at Tyler Gymnasium, according to school officials.

The Toppers played with confidence from the opening tip, igniting their offense early and forcing ABAC to chase throughout the game. They shared the ball effectively, attacked gaps in the defense, and capitalized on open looks, maintaining a steady rhythm from start to finish.

Blue Mountain’s offensive efficiency was complemented by active defense, creating transition opportunities and extending their lead. Their unselfish play and strong connectivity reflected a team playing for one another on a significant night.

Individually, Gavin Shannon led the way with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while Michael Hill added 23 points. Esrael Yant scored 20 points, and Kam Carter contributed 12 points and seven assists. Jalen Boyd-Savage hit four three-pointers en route to 12 points, and RJ Robinson scored 10 to round out the double-digit scorers.

The victory marked a strong finish to the home schedule for Blue Mountain and was described as a performance worthy of the special occasion, according to team officials.
