Blue Mountain Christian Women’s Tennis Dominates MUW 7-0

The Blue Mountain Christian University women’s tennis team delivered a commanding performance Tuesday, defeating Mississippi University for Women 7-0. The Toppers secured the victory with decisive wins in both doubles and singles matches, displaying depth and dominance throughout the lineup.

Blue Mountain Christian quickly took control by capturing the doubles point. Camila Mordiz and Eugenia Ramos led the way with a 6-1 victory at No. 1 doubles. Lina Cetina and Lucia Rodriguez Garcia matched that score at No. 2, while Nami Malyaporn and Kiersten Terris completed the doubles sweep with a 6-0 shutout at No. 3.

In singles play, the Toppers continued their momentum, winning all six matches in straight sets. Mordiz defeated her opponent 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1. Cetina followed with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 2, and Ramos won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3. Rodriguez Garcia secured a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4. Malyaporn and Terris finished the match with flawless 6-0, 6-0 wins at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively.

The Toppers demonstrated impressive depth and control throughout the match, surrendering few games and dominating from the start. The win improves their record as they continue their season.
