Blue Mountain Christian Women’s Tennis Battles Freed-Hardeman Lions

The Blue Mountain Christian University women’s tennis team faced the Freed-Hardeman Lions in Jackson, Tennessee, demonstrating effort throughout the lineup as they gained experience against a strong opponent, according to school sources.

In doubles play, the top pairing of Camila Mordiz and Eugenia Ramos fell 6-4, while Lucia Garcia and Lina Cetina faced a tough challenge at No. 2 doubles. The team of Nami Malyaporn and Kiersten Terris narrowly lost 7-5 in a hard-fought contest, the sources said.

Blue Mountain found success in singles play, earning two victories. Cetina won her match after a 7-6 tiebreak in the first set and a 6-3 win in the second. Ramos delivered a dominant 6-0, 6-0 performance, and Malyaporn responded to a first-set loss with a 6-1 second set before falling in a tiebreak, the sources added.

Mordiz, Garcia, and Terris continued to compete hard against their opponents, according to reports. The team aims to carry the momentum from its singles wins into future matches as the season progresses.
