Blue Mountain Christian Finishes Fourth at Ram Spring Invite, Dabbs Places Second

Mobile, Alabama – The Blue Mountain Christian women’s golf team finished fourth overall at the Ram Spring Invite, held in Mobile, Alabama, according to team officials. Junior Morgan Dabbs led the team with a runner-up finish in the tournament.

Dabbs posted a consistent performance across three rounds, opening with a 75 and shooting identical rounds of 75 in the second and third rounds. Her total score of 225 kept her among the top competitors throughout the event, securing her second place on the leaderboard, according to team sources.

The Toppers received solid contributions from other players. Erin Porter finished 23rd overall after rounds of 84, 85, and 82, finishing with a three-round total of 251. Abby Gattis tied for 24th with scores of 84, 84, and 86 for a total of 254. Abby Moore placed 31st after rounds of 94, 93, and 91, totaling 278. Adina Ataullah rounded out the lineup with rounds of 94, 94, and 92, finishing 33rd with a score of 280.

Head Coach Kevin Barefield praised Dabbs for her steady play and composure. “Morgan played really steady golf all three rounds and showed great composure throughout the tournament,” he said. “Seeing her compete at that level and stay consistent from start to finish was impressive. I’m proud of the entire group for the way they competed and supported one another this week.”

The team aims to build on this performance as they continue their spring schedule, according to Barefield.
