Rayfield Adams III and Julian Jarrett each recorded two hits Friday night as Alcorn State opened a three-game SWAC Baseball series against Bethune-Cookman.
The Wildcats defeated the Braves 11-1 in seven innings at McGowan Stadium in Lorman.
Alcorn State is scheduled to host Bethune-Cookman in the series’ second and third games this weekend.
