LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Belhaven University junior infielder Maryanna Guy was named to the 2026 NFCA Division III Player of the Year Watchlist on Thursday. The list, divided into 10 NCAA regions, is compiled by members of the NFCA Division III All-America Committee, with one head coach representing each region.
Guy, a transfer from Longwood University, leads the Blazers with a .443 batting average. She has 39 hits in 88 at-bats this season. She also tops her team with 11 doubles and is one of two players in the Collegiate Conference of the South with 17 extra-base hits.
In addition, she leads Belhaven in slugging percentage and total bases, and has recorded a hit in 25 of 29 games. The Blazers are scheduled to host Huntingdon College tomorrow in a rematch of the 2025 CCS Tournament Championship. First pitch is set for 11 a.m.
