Belhaven Blazers Earn Five All-CCS Honors, Dame Named Rookie of the Year

The Collegiate Conference of the South announced its 2025-26 men’s basketball postseason awards, highlighting five players from Belhaven University. The Blazers finished the season with a 13-12 record overall and a 7-5 mark in conference play.

Belhaven placed two players on the All-CCS First Team, one on the Second Team, and a player on the All-CCS Sportsmanship Team. Freshman guard Braylon Dame was named CCS Rookie of the Year after leading all rookies with an average of 10.7 points per game and earning three Rookie of the Week honors.

Junior guard CJ Minton and junior guard Dan Robinson earned first-team honors. Minton, in his first season with the Blazers, averaged 15.3 points per game and shot 39.5% from three-point range. Robinson scored 14.4 points per game and led the team with 98 assists and 56 steals.

Senior center Neal Terry received second-team recognition. Terry averaged 8.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 60.4% from the field. He totaled 163 rebounds and blocked 49 shots during the season.

Senior guard Benjamin Stewart was named to the All-CCS Sportsmanship Team. Stewart started all 25 games, averaging 9.8 points and five rebounds per game, and led the team with 48 three-pointers.
