Alcorn State announced schedule changes for its baseball and softball series against Grambling State and Mississippi Valley State, citing expected adverse weather conditions in Lorman, Mississippi.
The baseball series against Mississippi Valley State, originally set for Thursday through Saturday, will now feature a doubleheader at Willie E. “Rat” McGowan Stadium on April 1, starting at 1 p.m. The third game is scheduled for April 2 at noon.
Softball games against Grambling State, initially planned as a doubleheader on Thursday, will now be played on Wednesday, April 1, at noon. The series will conclude with a single game on Thursday at noon. All softball games will be held at the Alcorn Softball Complex in Lorman.
