Alabama defeated Mississippi State 100-75 Wednesday night in Tuscaloosa. The Crimson Tide opened the game with a hot shooting streak, hitting five three-pointers early to build a 15-2 lead, according to sources.
Alabama extended its lead to as many as 30 points in the first half and took a 63-33 advantage into halftime. The second half saw the Tide maintain their dominance, preventing the Bulldogs from mounting a comeback.
Mississippi State’s top scorer was Achor Achor with 18 points, while King Grace added 13. Despite their efforts, the Bulldogs couldn’t keep pace with Alabama’s shooting. The Tide connected on 16 of 27 three-pointers in the first half and finished the game 22-for-50 from beyond the arc.
Mississippi State will return home to face Missouri on Saturday at Humphrey Coliseum. Tipoff is scheduled for noon, and the game will be broadcast on SEC Network.
